Methodology and transparency
Total = diapers + formula + insurance deductible + extras, straight addition of your own estimates. The deductible line is the one most people get wrong: a birth typically hits the full deductible and often the out-of-pocket maximum, which can be several times larger — check your plan's OOP max, not just the deductible.
