LifeCost does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. There is nothing buried below this line that contradicts that sentence.

What happens when you use a calculator

Every calculation runs in your browser using JavaScript served from this site. The numbers you type never leave your device: no form submissions, no analytics events, no requests to any third-party server. Close the tab and everything you entered is gone.

What this site does not use

No analytics scripts, no advertising or ad networks, no tracking pixels, no third-party embeds, no affiliate links, and no marketing cookies. The site sets no cookies of its own. The Content-Security-Policy header enforces this technically: the browser is instructed to refuse connections to any host other than this one.

Hosting

The site is served by Netlify, which, like any web host, processes standard server logs (IP address, requested URL, user agent) to deliver pages. LifeCost does not access, store, or analyze those logs. See Netlify’s privacy policy for how they handle infrastructure data.
